We believe this is the most important topic related to wedding bands. Turnover is frequent in our industry. Anyone who tells you otherwise is being disingenuous. Consider this subject with the following questions in mind:
“What happens if a lead vocalist has an emergency the night of my event? Or leaves the band?”
If there is an emergency, we spare no expense to recruit a replacement of equal or more exceptional talent. After 35 years, we have the most extensive network of performers in New England and beyond. We will have your back in the case of an emergency.
If a lead singer is permanently replaced, we notify you, introduce you to the vocalist and provide a video for your review. If you are unhappy, we will refund your deposit, and you’ll be free to pursue any course you wish. The changes we undergo make our bands stronger. However, you should still have confidence you won’t be locked into a group if you’re unhappy with a change of vocalists.
We suggest you go in with your eyes open. You are not investing in individuals, but rather an experience, a brand, and the promise of a fantastic party. This can be achieved with different personnel if necessary. If you are emotionally prepared for the possibility of turnover, it will help you make a more informed decision.
Beyond the regular possibility of turnover, there is no telling how the Coronavirus Pandemic will affect our artists. Many will remain in Boston, while others will retreat to their cities of origin, outside of the Northeast. Sadly, some have already become ill. Several of our people have even lost family members.
Having said that, there is no company in the Northeast better positioned to weather the storm. One thing is for sure, we will help make your wedding unforgettable.
