PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – Wilson Stevens Productions, Inc. seeks highly qualified individual to fill professional position of Production and Operations Manager in Chelmsford, Massachusetts worksite. Duties include: Conduct, direct, plan, and put together music performances and events for company’s music artists, groups, bands, and ensembles to meet client and audience requirements and preferences; Manage company’s music artist database/roster, and serve as primary contact for new artists, and help with event production, logistics, and music lineup; Create musical/arrangement/MP3 notes to provide to bands verbatim, and compose and arrange original works of music, or modify existing music, to adapt to client and audience requirements; Determine voices, instruments, harmony, rhythms, and tones to achieve the desired effects for event at hand; Determine and approve client music requests (considering cost, liaisons, venues, etc.), and provide feedback on music selection, as well as manage production team; Support and advise related music production and event functions, including transportation and logistics coordination, client liaison management, artist management/training, and recording production; Ensure music events and production financial transactions are executed correctly. Must report to company headquarters in Chelmsford, MA, but 100% telecommuting is permitted, as this position is a fully remote work position, and the candidate may work from anywhere in the United States so long as within the Eastern Standard Timezone of the United States, including occasionally from company headquarters in Chelmsford, MA. Travel to event venues required on rare occasion and anticipated for up to only 5% of time. Minimum job requirements currently include: (1) Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Business or related field, or in any suitable field of study or combination of education substantially related to Music or Music Business or related field, or its equivalent; (2) Must be proficient in professional music performances, including live performances, music composition and arrangement, and music engineering and production; (3) Must be proficient in music event and production management, especially relating to music business, finance, and client and artist relations; (4) Must be proficient in contemporary music equipment and technologies, including for music editing. Must report to company headquarters in Chelmsford, MA, but 100% telecommuting is permitted, as this position is a fully remote work position, and the candidate may work from anywhere in the United States so long as within the Eastern Standard Timezone of the United States, including occasionally from company headquarters in Chelmsford, MA.
