Everything you did was superb, from all the planning, to the piano background music during the cocktail hour to the ceremony music to the reception! The individual members of the band were exceptional on their own and masterful together. Everyone told us how they enjoyed the music! We especially loved when the band members interacted with those who remained later in the evening.

Wilson Steven’s band The Connection played our August wedding. They covered all ceremony music, cocktail hour music as well as the entire reception. From start to finish the MC, the band and all aspects of the music were phenomenal. Our guests were blown away! From making sure the music kept guests out of their seats and on the dance floor, to the selection of songs they melded together for us, we cannot recommend this band in enough words. As you know “The Connection” played at our wedding last Saturday Oct. 28. I’m struggling for the superlatives that we received from our family and guests as there were many. “SPECTATCULAR…BEST EVER… MADE THE WEDDING… GREAT MUSICIANS AND MUSIC…OMG INCREDIBLE MUSIC”…and on and on.

A terrific group of professional musicians and great individuals that absolutely hit the grand slam in front of 200 guests.  As I told the band leader and trumpet player, if I had another daughter, I would reserve the band immediately.

I cannot thank you enough. The band knocked it over the Green Wall. Everybody loved them. Thanks for the extended special request song. My Brooklyn boys and I danced to it right in front of the vocalists and sang each and every verse with them. Please make sure to let them know I appreciated them. With all the guest goodbyes at the end i did not have time to go over to them and express my gratitude.

Working with you was seamless and The Connection was honestly amazing! The most talented band I’ve ever heard at any event (all of our guests were saying the same), and also great, personable and charismatic people. Everyone was dancing all night!!!

We are so grateful that we booked The Connection for Lisa & Kevin’s wedding this past weekend. THEY WERE AMAZING and exceeded our already high expectations!  They had everyone on their feet the entire night. Every song was perfect and sounded like the original artists. WOW – I’m not sure that we (or our guests) will ever stop talking about The Connection. Talk about exceeding expectations in every way possible. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. I seriously have not attended a wedding where the dance floor was filled the entire time. It was AWESOME!

We would like to thank you for sending us the most AMAZING, OUT OF THIS WORLD, INCREDIBLE, PHENOMENAL, and EXTREMELY TALENTED band!!! Once the music started the dance floor remained packed the entire night. Even the non dancers stood on the sides clapping and stomping their feet. It was nonstop fun!!  As mother of the bride my biggest wish was for people to have a great time. This band exceeded all expectations as the musical talent could not be ignored. It was just TOO GOOD!!!!  I cannot count how many people asked us who the band was and where they were from. Each performer in the band was so uniquely talented!! Even the Spanish songs the bride and groom asked the band to learn were outstanding!!!!

Throughout the evening and even the NEXT DAY hotel guests were asking who the band was, saying they sat out by the fire pits and just loved the music. This is one quote from a fellow who stopped both my husband and me. He said “where did you ever find that band? I have been in the music business for over 20 years and that was one of the best I’ve ever heard.”   We couldn’t agree more!

In closing, thank you personally for being so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process and a final thank you for making Alexandra and Juan’s wedding so AMAZING and memorable!! We will continue to recommend you and hope that our paths will cross again one day!!!

Thank you so, so much again for everything that you and the whole Wilson Stevens team did to make our wedding so much fun! The band was everything we could have possibly asked for in our wedding band. On top of that, Wilson Stevens was our favorite – and easiest – vendor to work with. You were responsive, super flexible, and it felt like you were genuinely invested in making our wedding a success. 

We intentionally made our dance floor “oversized” for the size of our wedding, but there still wasn’t a single moment of the night when every inch of the dance floor wasn’t packed! The Connection did a perfect job balancing its set list between older songs that everyone knew and newer top songs that kept all our friends excited to be out on the dance floor. In fact, at one point several family friends and older members of the wedding formed a separate dancing section near the tent, and that was just as lively as the actual dance floor (we have video of an uncle jumping off a bench perfectly timed to the beat of the song). 

I can’t tell you how many people – many of whom have been to countless weddings over the years – come up to us and rave about our band, telling us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. We’re so grateful to The Connection and the entire Wilson Stevens team for helping to make our wedding such a special and fun night.

Dear Justin and Katlin,

This weekend was hands down the most fun we’ve ever had. Nathan and I had the biggest smiles on our faces SATURDAY ALL DAY AND NIGHT AND THE LAST TWO DAYS. We’re still dancing around the house. We truly had the most incredible wedding celebration on Saturday, and our hearts are full. The Connection was AMAZING. You have no idea how many people told us that they were the best wedding band they’ve ever heard or they’ve never seen a dance floor packed all night long. They were absolutely masterful – from the song selection to getting the crowd going, to their thoughtfulness- likely playing cake by the ocean as we were dancing with plates of our funfetti cake, literally steps away from the ocean. I am extremely grateful that they learned XO for Caroline to sing with them. And then we were all shook when they played sweet caroline right after, and she was serenaded by the horns on the dance floor. The singers got the crowd going when they got on the dance floor – my father in law hates dancing in public and he was spotted doing the air guitar at some point! Truly, if you said that I could only leave a 500-word review, I’d have to go over the limit.

Justin and Katlin, you were so patient with me and understanding when we had to postpone our party twice and change dates, but also from last minute emails I sent, like please play party in the USA for my husband the day before the wedding (Thank you for that – I’ve never seen him move his hips like that before). From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. I can obviously go on and on.

The Connection are incredibly talented, energetic fun artists! INCREDIBLE.

I cannot begin to thank The Connection enough for being such a BIG part of our wedding day at the AFH Epicenter!! We loved when you joined in the crowd on the dance floor – this made the party! We had a tough crowd too – there were many professional dancers as guests who didn’t hold back!
