I just want to quickly say thank you SO MUCH for all of your help during this process. Protégé were absolutely on fire and had everyone on the dance floor all night. They were everything we wanted and more. So many of our guests commented on how amazing they were and none of it would have been possible without your assistance. My husband and I picked Protege for our wedding day and I was SO glad we picked them. To start, the team and Wilson Stevens was so helpful and supportive during all stages of planning. We had Katie as our representative who was just truly amazing. She had a great response time and answered all of our random questions since we had never been through the process of having a band before. On wedding day the MC met with us prior to our entrance and quickly went over how the night would look. The vocals were beautiful and the songs they sang really got our family and friends up and our of their seats. They hyped up the crowd and even allowed my husband to sing an entire song!! They did such an amazing job and I would highly recommend them for any event you may be hosting.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to the entire Wilson Stevens team for helping to bring our wedding vision to life at the deCordova. It was the best we could have asked for. Protege was great! They had the dance floor packed the entire night, and our guests loved the song selection and how involved the band was (especially hopping into the crowd). The band leader was instrumental in making the evening run smoothly, and he and the rest of the band members were very professional and attentive to our timeline, while also flexible and extremely fun and involved. Protege even played a Chaka Khan song per our request (which may or may not have been on their set list), and this truly meant a lot to me and my dad! Outside of the reception, the sound technician made sure the PA system was up and running for the ceremony, and that worked out very well!

We appreciate all of your help and guidance throughout this process. Your responsiveness and advice made wedding planning alot easier, and we knew we were in good hands.

We are so happy we chose Wilson Stevens to provide entertainment at our wedding, and we are so very grateful. Thanks again!

Matt and I had the best wedding day and we wanted to express how thankful we are to Protege and everyone at Wilson Stevens for making it as perfect as it was! Before I head our for my honeymoon I wanted to send along a sincere thank you for all being incredible and gifted at your individual talents. You and Protege helped make my vision a reality. Yesterday was a dream. Thank you for everything!!!

Working with Wilson Stevens was extremely easy! Our coordinator Katlin Florin answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of. Multiple guests commented how good the band was. They literally played every song we wanted to hear. Their personalities and joining us on the dance floor was just killer, the bus cart on the floor was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Learning Consequence Free, knowing it was not in their typical wheelhouse – was brilliant!!!! They followed every queue from our request list, and made it easy for us to know when we were “on”.

I’m an amatuer musician, so I’m usually very particular about bands being on point, and in tune. They were absolute perfection.

I’m hoping they had as much fun as we did. I will recommend you to anyone and everyone.  Simply the highlight of the whole day!!!!

Hey Justin & Tim,

I’m in between the going away breakfast this morning and packing to head out of town. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say that Protege was absolutely freaking phenomenal last night. That’s all people were talking about this morning at breakfast. The energy was incredible, the individual talent was unbelievable and their professionalism was outstanding. I’m not going to get into the details right now, but that group of musicians was the best band I’ve ever heard!

I cannot thank you enough for all of your assistance in helping make last night a very special event for my baby daughter!

My new husband and I are both professional classically trained musicians- and we were blown away by the band. They were excellent and the highlight of the reception! All of our guests were raving about the band. Protege was just wonderful!

As an aside, Justin, Katlin, and Cheryl were all incredible! Very responsive, and incredibly flexible throughout the pandemic, FOUR different wedding dates, and many changes to the contract. We are so grateful that they were so easy to work with.

We absolutely loved working with Protege! They were so amazing at our wedding. People were on the dance floor the whole time and it made for such a fun wedding!! We received so many comments from our guests on how wonderful the band was, how they played a wide range of music and how they made the night a blast! We couldn’t have asked for a better night. First off, a big thank you to you guys and to the Protege band. They were INCREDIBLE last night at our wedding! Guests kept coming up to us on the dance floor to tell us how great they thought the band was – and my uncle who was a concert promoter for a long time said he thought they were among the best bands he’s seen at any wedding, period. They played with such energy, enthusiasm, and polish. Having them get people on the dance floor and keeping them there with fantastic song selection and style turned what was already a special night into an unforgettable one.

Protege was simply phenomenal. Everyone displayed excellent musicianship. We are musicians ourselves, and many of our guests in attendance are musicians as well, so it was important to us to hire a band of high caliber. Protege did not disappoint! Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed dancing and watching the band perform. The pianist who played for our ceremony was wonderful; we had specific covers of songs that we wanted to incorporate into our ceremony and he replicated them beautifully.

All of the representatives we spoke with, from Tim to Katlin as the wedding date approached, were professional and knowledgeable. They were great about answering all of our questions and were truly a pleasure to work with.

We have been recommending Wilson Stevens bands to all of our friends for future weddings! We couldn’t have been more satisfied with their performance and the planning process throughout.

We couldn’t be any happier with using Wilson Stevens. By hosting several events in the Boston area, it makes it extremely easy to see all the bands that they manage perform. Wilson Stevens handles everything, from providing the song lists to the questionnaire and all the little details. This made it very easy to get information and questions answered quickly. Katlin was very responsive with our never ending emails with questions. Not only do they manage the bands, but they also provide uplighting for the event. The uplighting was exactly how we pictured it, and we couldn’t be happier. Justin was able to answer any questions about the types of lights and how many he felt we needed for the venue. Wilson Stevens was awesome, and we have recommended them to our recently engaged friends!

Protege was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! Our guests continue to reach out to absolutely rave about the band !! The most important part things for us when planning our wedding were the music and the food. We had seen Groovin You’ at a friend’s wedding a few years ago and were very impressed – we were so glad that there were a few Wilson Stevens bands still available when we reached out about our wedding date. We loved Protege’s vibe. They were absolutely wonderful – great musicians, super cool vibe, fabulous entertainers out on the dance floor with our guests, true professionals reading the crowd and choosing appropriate songs during the course of the night. I can’t say enough good things about Protege and Wilson Stevens! First of all, I can’t even begin to count the number of people that came up to me at the wedding, the next day, and still, weeks later, to tell me how amazing Protege was! They created exactly the party we were hoping for and kept the whole crowd dancing all night. Yesterday, nearly 4 weeks after the wedding, a friend said to me that one of the songs that Protege played was “literally the best wedding dance party moment I’ve ever experienced.” Later, we had so much fun hanging out with the members of the band, who were all so down to earth, nice, and fun. I can’t think of anyone better to have play at a wedding! I was also so impressed with the management from Wilson Stevens. Katlin was responsive and thoughtful, and Wilson Stevens, along with the venue, took care of all the details so that we didn’t have to think about it! They just did their jobs exceptionally well, taking all of that off of my plate. Thank you Protege and Wilson Stevens!
