I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for One Step Ahead and the energy you brought to the room. You are all extremely talented, so many of our guests complimented you the last few days. Thank you again for making our wedding day so special, I am so happy we chose you to play at our wedding.

Now that we’ve had a day to catch our breath, just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed One Step Ahead on Saturday night! We all had the best time and you guys were amazing. So many guests continue to compliment us on the incredible band (which we totally take credit for).

We simply cannot say enough good things about One Step Ahead!!! They brought incredible energy to the room with strong vocals and a hot horn section! They really worked the crowd too, coming onto the dance floor and engaging with the guests. I didn’t stop dancing the whole night!!! They also played an EPIC hora. Our guests were RAVING — multiple friends said this was the best wedding band they’d ever seen, and I’m inclined to agree 🙂 Thank you!!

AMAZING!! One Step Ahead from Wilson Stevens absolutely crushed it at our wedding! The dance floor was packed the entire night. Choosing One Step Ahead to play at our wedding was hands down the best decision that we made and they were worth every penny. The performance had such a great energy and they interacted with the crowd throughout the evening. The music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner was beautiful. Everyone was talking about how awesome the band was throughout the night and at breakfast the next morning. The manager was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. It was really nice to work with such a professionally managed group. During the chaos of the weeks leading up to the wedding it was such a relief to not have to worry about any logistics with the band. I truly cannot recommend this band highly enough.

One Step Ahead was SUCH a hit! Truly could not have asked for a better night. Thank you for having everyone dance the night away. Everything was fantastic.

One Step Ahead was AMAZING! Every guest at our wedding said they had never seen such an amazing wedding band. They got in the crowd to sing a few songs and had amazing energy the entire night. The sax player also came onto the dance floor and the crowd loved it.

The only complaint I have was being pulled away from the dance floor by our photographer!!! Music was great, energy was even better! Thank you so much!!!!

I am sure you agree that there are two keys to a great party:  1.  Great music,   2.  Great food (and, in my opinion, in that order!) YOU and One Step Ahead made #1 happen, and really contributed to making the wedding so amazing! Whereas so many people raved about the band, it was when my wife’s cousin (who coordinates mega events) said “the band is truly great” that I knew others saw what I saw.

One Step Ahead was the absolute best. We used them for our ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding reception. Their band members added so much energy to our dance floor (singers and band members at times were in the middle of our dance floor connecting with us and our guests), and the overall customer experience at WS was first class and extremely responsive with all of our planning questions. The two lead singers had amazing voices and excellent vocal range and our guests continue to tell us that One Step Ahead was the best band they had ever heard “live” at a wedding. We would strongly recommend One Step Ahead for any celebration, especially if it is a wedding reception. Thank you for making our wedding a memory of a lifetime for us and all of our guests!!!

It’s 3 weeks later and I am still getting positive feedback, too many to count have said you were the best band they have ever seen at a wedding or period. They also loved when some of the band came outside playing and having a great time to draw them back onto the dance floor! We absolutely LOVED working with One Step Ahead, one of the Wilson Stevens bands. We originally were scheduled to get married in June 2020, but due to COVID postponed to June 2021, and ultimately again to June 2022. WS was so easy to communicate with, and made rescheduling a breeze. As we got closer to the wedding, we loved working with Dave as well. He made our pre-wedding meeting so fun, and got us even more excited for our celebration. The band learned a mashup for our first dance, which was so special. All of our guests were raving about how amazing our music was!! Highly recommend!!

Music was probably one of the most important things to us and our family going into the wedding, and One Step Ahead BLEW US AWAY. From the get-go, bandleader Dave was a pleasure to work with and both proactively helpful and responsive to any questions or ideas. We had a trio of band members play for cocktail hour and it was perfect – low key and jazzy. At the reception, the full band was EXCEPTIONAL – our guests haven’t stopped gushing about the group since!! We had a big range of ages, musical tastes, reserved/outgoing friends and family, and literally every. single. person danced. Everyone. We cannot thank the band enough for the best party of our life. Hire One Step Ahead. Absolutely would again in a heartbeat.

One step ahead was an absolute party – they were extremely talented and had our wedding dancing all night! They killed it with Shallow and played tons of new/current songs – which we really appreciated. I had multiple people ask me for their contact information after the wedding!

In addition to the talented band, Tim was the best and an absolute pleasure to work with! He was extremely communicative and thoughtful and offered his advice and guidance throughout the wedding process. He held my hand throughout the process and offered superior customer service. Despite everything he has going on, I always felt like I could reach out to him as a resource or to ask questions regarding my wedding.

Dave, One Step Ahead was outrageously wonderful. I thought your keyboard player might get a laugh out of the photo below. His virtuosity did not go unnoticed by our Jewish friends. (He was amazing, riffing on various prayers like a cantor). As for my Irish Catholic brothers, they were like “whaaa?”  And then leapt right into the dance.
