Rather than us introducing Tony Spinelli‘s enchanting photos from Lara and Colin’s June wedding, we’ll just let the couple’s note to Wilson Stevens and their band, Radiance,  do the talking!

“Colin and I just wanted to write you a quick note thanking you and the Radiance band for everything on Saturday. It was the best night, and you and the band were AMAZING! From playing the introduction songs we wanted even though they weren’t on your set list to surprising me with working with my Dad on the song, it was an unforgettable night. Our goal for making sure people danced the night away and had the best time was totally achieved and we are sad it is over! Please pass our thanks and appreciation to the rest of the band.

Thank you again – we loved every moment of our night!”

Located in Boston suburb Brookline, MA, The Country Club was founded in 1882, making it one of the first 100 country clubs to be founded in the United States and one of the oldest in the country.  Over the years it has been host to horseback-riding and other outdoor activities, served as one of the five charter clubs that founded the United States Golf Association, and hosted numerous USGA tournaments.

But this year, on the last Saturday in July,  it also had the honor of serving as Molly and John’s wedding venue. EYE2EYE served up a reception that looked like so much fun that we’ll let Dan Aguirre‘s action-packed photos speak for themselves.

For years Wilson Stevens has had the good fortune of being located a beach pebble’s throw from one of the most beautiful coastal regions in the country. Cape Cod is also one of the most sought after wedding destinations, and this summer has seen no shortage of Cape Cod weddings with all the nautical themed trimmings. Beantown recently performed at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich Port, MA, a stunning Longwood Events wedding venue that “blends the Cape Cod relaxed classic Americana style with glamour and luxury.”

It was the details, however, that caught our eye when Beantown performed there for Lisa and Mike’s wedding. Recently featured on Style Me Pretty, Lisa said of planning the couple’s nuptials, “Planning a wedding on Cape Cod was a year’s worth of hard work, countless weekend trips, and DIY projects…We were not focused on a specific theme but rather the spring season and all of the natural beauty that comes with it.”

Earlier in the day, fresh blooms also enveloped Lisa and her bridesmaids as the design of their beautiful dressing gowns. Fun touches like a framed reminder to use the couple’s #LisaPlusMike hashtag while Instagramming, a “wishing tree” where guests could leave notes, not to mention a rocking party with Beantown sealed the night as perfect. Check out the full gallery featuring photos by the very talented First Mate Photo Co.

We were beyond touched to get a note from recent newlyweds Nick and Emily thanking Wilson Stevens and all the other hardworking artistes that helped make their wedding day a dream come true. The couple also included a link to Emily’s sister Zoë’s lifestyle blog, where she had posted a wonderful rundown of all those who contributed to her sister’s big day. We loved reading Zoë’s account of the party, at which Joey Scott & the Connection performed:

“A band like Joey Scott and the Connection isn’t something that everyone can get their hands on, but do try if you have the opportunity! They played an array of genres – from Black Eyed Peas to a Motown medley to swing – and I’ve never seen a dance floor so full. They kept the party going all night, and my favorite part was when the brass musicians went into the audience to play their solos. Talk about an interactive experience.”

So often though, it’s easy to forget just how many hard-working hands go into making a bride’s vision come to life smoothly, beautifully, and above all, memorable. Luckily Zoë is a marketing pro in addition to her bridesmaid role, and her thorough listing allowed us the pleasure of discovering Inkspot Crow Films.

Inkspot Crow “seemed to be everywhere, yet never in the way” while documenting Emily and Nick’s Salters Point wedding, making sure to get every last detail for the couple to cherish. According to their WeddingWire page (which has a perfect rating of 5 stars!), the company was born from the “dream of a ‘new breed’ of wedding cinematography.”

The result is an impressive portfolio of vignettes in which skilled artistry and obvious thoughtfulness produce truly emotional cinematic moments. The music Inkspot Crow incorporates is always spot on as well, catchy without being distracting, with just the right amount of sentimental undertone. We here at Wilson Stevens never underestimate the importance of music!

Just one look at Inkspot Crow’s featured “documentaries about love” (like the one below) and we were hooked. We can’t wait to see how Nick and Emily’s video comes out!
