Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Chauncey Matthews began singing in local churches at the age of 4 and soon became known for his comfortable stage presence and mature voice. In 2003, Chauncey won the American Idol spin-off talent show, American Juniors, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and judged by pop icons Debbie Gibson, Brian McKnight, and Gladys Knight. The success on the FOX Network TV show led to Chauncey signing to Jive Records along with 4 other winners from the show to form the pop band, American Juniors. The group toured internationally performing with American Idol stars Reuben Studdard, Clay Aiken, and Kelly Clarkson prior to disbanding in 2005.
Chauncey is currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He has also studied at the Oak Park Music Conservatory and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts.

A Berklee College of Music graduate, Penni has performed at every major venue in the New England area including the Charles River Hatch shell, the Wang Center and the TD Banknorth Garden. She has also performed all over the country in addition to Europe, Australia, Jamaica and New Zealand, giving her the experience of a seasoned vocalist. Penni has participated in multiple recording projects, served as a producer for local artists, taught privately for over 6 years and leads her own jazz ensemble. She writes, performs and records with the jazz group First Take as well as manages Upside Entertainment with partner Larry Jackson. Recently, they composed the score for a documentary film called North Pole Promise that premiers in April on PBS stations across the country.

Born in NYC, Jaime first started playing congas on park benches at Coney Island on the weekends. Since that time, he has matured to become a multi talented vocalist, house dancer, percussionist, and DJ. His infectious personality and talent has made him an integral part of the Eye 2 Eye front line as the band has performed on the east coast, west coast, and Europe.

Originally a classically trained pianist, Damon earned his Bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music. He has become one of the most versatile musicians in the Boston area and has also had opportunity to tour parts of North America and Europe. His many talents also include song writing and music production. His latest achievement was being signed to Sony Publishing as a songwriter. Since then, Damon has written for various artists such as The Backstreet Boys, Queen Latifah, Lisa Lisa, and Cher. In addition to performing and song writing, Damon has been a music educator in the Boston area for 14 years, teaching piano and voice. Damon is also the musical director of Eye 2 Eye.

Aaron is the “multi” instrumentalist of the band. He has been a professional musician around the New England area for 17 years on his main instrument, sax. He also plays guitar, bass, percussion, and sings. He has worked in swing orchestras and funk hip hop bands and played in countless venues around New England. He is also a DJ with Upside Entertainment and owns A Street Music in Quincy.

Born and raised in Sweden, Johan started playing guitar at the age of 10. He formed his first band two years later. At this point, Johan found himself touring with musicians of differing musical styles from classic rock, Top 40, and jazz, including Motown recording artists, The Marvelettes. He also performed for musical theater productions, such as “Hair” and “Little Shop of Horrors”. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Johan worked as a staff musician for Royal Caribbean Cruises, spanning Miami, Europe and the Caribbean. Currently, he works locally in the New England area as studio-musician, educator and leader of original projects.

Steve graduated Berklee College and has been a professional drummer and drum instructor ever since. He toured extensively with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and performed with a variety of singers including Mel Torme, Maureen McGovern, Jack Jones, and Eddie Fisher. Shortly after this extended stint with many of yesterday’s stars, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue its more contemporary musical offerings. While living in Los Angeles, Steve became busy in the recording studios playing on jingles for Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Virginia Slims, American Savings Bank, and on TV shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Step By Step, and Sweet Justice. Keeping a busy performance schedule as well, he recorded and toured with BMG Records pop group Maggie’s Farm, IRS recording artist Valentine’s Revenge, R & B singing sensation and former front man for Tower Of Power, Ellis Hall, and many other Rock and Jazz groups.

They were so good, and whether the music was live (which was AWESOME) or played through a computer (our first dance and some favorites of ours) - everyone was having a ball and dancing like there was no tomorrow. 6) Use Wilson Stevens again?: Yes. Wilson Stevens Productions was very easy to work with. Very responsive and on top of things, and friendly! 7) Use artist again?: Yes. Penni Layne is absolutely incredible. She answered every email and phone call with such thought, detail, and professionalism, while at the same time making me feel so comfortable and happy. I do not have one bad thing to say. Eye 2 Eye and Penni are absolutely incredible and we could not be happier with our experience and their performance at our wedding!! The Eye 2 Eye band was beyond incredible. We are so lucky we were able to book them and have them play at our wedding. They were such a hit, everyone raved about them and had such a blast. I have to say they exceeded our expectations in every way. Their performance, their appearance, their music and the way they interacted with the audience was over the top! We have the pleasure of attending 2 more weddings over the next 14 months that Eye to Eye will be performing and we can't wait. We also appreciated the fact that Penny took the time to make sure the Bride and Groom were happy throughout the evening. At one point all of my bridesmaids got on stage and were playing the extra instruments while the band was playing - they are some of the funniest pictures of the night!
