Yaeko started violin at age 3 and was classically trained. She received a BA in Music from New England Conservatory of Music in Contemporary Improvisation in 2002 where she studied under Ran Blake and Hankus Netsky. Since graduating Yaeko has been a member of the world-renowned Klezmer Conservatory Band (KCB) and has performed throughout the country in such venues as Avery Fischer Hall and Wald Disney Concert Hall to name a few. As a part of the KCB, Yaeko has had the honor of working with Itzhak Perlman and Cantor Yitzchak Meir Helfgot on the Eternal Echos Project. As a part of the project she has played on Prairie Home Companion, at Symphony Hall and Barclays Center, and recorded for PBS's Great Performances.
In addition, Yaeko had the privilege of performing alongside the great Stevie Wonder at Boston's TD Garden for the Songs in the Key of Life Tour. Yaeko has worked with jazz clarinetist, Don Byron, actress/singer Bernedette Peters, and has opened for Andy Statman. She also played in the NY run of the musical 'Shlemiel the First' under the music direction of Zalmen Mlotek.
In 2011, Yaeko recorded her debut album, The Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh Group which consists of Michael Mclaughlin (accordion), Grant Smith (percussion), Ehud Ettun (bass) and Brandon Seabrook (mandolin/guitar). They have performed in venues throughout Boston such as Club Passim, Boston Jewish Music Festival, Vilna Shul, Tufts University and Ganoff Hall.
Ryan’s interest in music became apparent at a young age, growing up in a musical household and watching his parents play the piano. He studied classical and jazz early on and went on to attend Berklee College of music after high school. Ryan has immersed himself in the Boston music scene as a freelance piano/keyboard player, performing many styles of music from classical, to blues, jazz, pop, and R&B.
In 2004 Ryan became music director of a well-known wedding entertainment agency and held this position for over 10 years, contributing to it’s substantial growth during his tenure. He has performed with Aubrey Logan (Post Modern Jukebox), Sheena Easton, Keely Smith, Jim Belushi to name a few, and has shared the stage at festivals with artists such as Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Earth Wind and Fire, Dianna Ross.
