When Pablo was seven years old, he began his musical studies in Caracas, Venezuela at the Emil Friedman school. There he studied, cello, Venezuelan cuatro, flute, Afro-Venezuelan percussion, harmony, ear training and sang in the school choir.
In 1994, Pablo was awarded a scholarship from Berklee College of Music, where he graduated with drum performance degree (Cum Laude). Since that time, Pablo has been performing to large and appreciative audiences around North, Central and South America, Europe, Virgin Islands and Australia. Pablo is an amazingly well-rounded musician and has mastered a variety of musical styles including Latin-Jazz, Salsa, Jazz, Afro-Venezuelan Rythms, Brasilian, Funk, Rock and Reggae.
Pablo performs with a great many groups, most notably with the Either/Orchestra, Labeque Sisters, Leo Blanco, JCA Orchestra, Eduardo Tancredi, Gonzalo Grau & La Clave Secreta , Jose Conde and Ola Fresca, Bandon 33, David Harris and Nu Quartet, Aquiles Baez Quintet.
