What our customers are saying
would pick them again in a second if we had another event! Alison Sarokhan Newagen Seaside Inn Wedding - September 30, 2017 - Southport, ME

Beantown an outstanding band for our wedding. All of our guests loved them! Loved working with the band and Wilson Stevens and would pick them again in a second if we had another event!

Simply amazing Mike Bosner The Cliff House Wedding - September 10, 2017 - York, ME

Simply amazing; all around. I cannot recommend Beantown higher or enough. Anita and the whole gang was absolutely terrific!

Great experience from beginning to end Michael Bourdon Hall of Springs Wedding - September 8, 2017 - Saratoga Springs, NY

Great experience from beginning to end. Working with Wilson Stevens and Beantown was a pleasure and they went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. We would definitely use them again and will willingly recommend to anyone looking for live music.

we barely sat down all night Lynn Stockmann Weekapaug Inn Wedding - September 2, 2017 - Westerly, RI

Everything from songs to the sound to the lighting was so amazing! Not once was that dance floor empty… it was awesome. All your musicians are so talented and made eye contact and had fun with us. We barely sat down all night.

If our youngest gets married I only can hope to be able to book Beantown for them! Thank you a million times over for making their day so special and rocking out the Weekapaug Inn!

everyone bent over backwards Sarah Sabshon Elm Bank Horticulture Center Wedding - August 20, 2017 - Wellesley, MA

We were so impressed with how easy it was to work with Wilson Stevens and Beantown. Everyone bent over backwards to make our event a success, including learning new music and working with an outside vocalist. While we were simply impressed with the willingness to please, we were even more impressed with the execution. We could not have asked for more!

Everyone was on the dance floor! Lindsay and Andrew Wright Hildene Wedding - August 4, 2017 - Manchester, VT

I cannot begin to express how much we enjoyed Beantown’s performance at our wedding on Friday. The band was everything we could have imagined and more. I cannot even count how many guests were raving about you and dancing the night away. Everyone was on the dance floor!!! We had the most incredible time and can’t wait to see you again (hopefully at Andrew’s younger brothers’ future weddings!)

Thank you for making our reception perfection!

fantastic Catherine Bannan TGC at Sacconnesset Event - July 28, 2017 - Falmouth, MA

Anita Connerty was GREAT to deal with. Very knowledgeable on all aspects, answered all questions, helped with music selection. The band, Beantown, was fantastic, the band members were wonderful- made the event fun. They couldn’t have been nicer!

We will never forget this party! Connie Lacaillade Private Residence Wedding - July 23, 2017 - Chatham, MA

Beantown was exceptional. Best band I have heard, bar none. The musicians are fantastic – all of them.
We will never forget this party – it was incredible!!!

could not have been happier Harrison Bookstein Willow Bend Country Club Wedding - July 22, 2017 - Mashpee, MA

Performance Review:

1) Quality of Music: Excellent. They were amazing performers. The singers, string instruments, keys, horns, percussion, etc. were all excellent. They put a nice twist on some popular songs, and were dialed in across the board.

2) Choice of Music: Excellent. Beantown played what we requested that they play, and filled in the rest with music that they knew the crowd would love.

3) Grooming & Attire: Excellent. Everyone looked great. From singers to technicians.

4) Emceeing: Excellent. Announcements were excellent, they interacted with the crowd who felt like they were “a part of” the performance. Crowds love that!!

5) Break Schedule: Excellent. Perfect timing and length. We have been at weddings where the break is at a critical time in the performance. Everything was discussed with us up front, and they stuck to the schedule perfectly.

6) Use Wilson Stevens again? Anita and Tim were the best vendor that we dealt with. Responses were prompt, accurate, and detailed.

7) Use artist again?: Yes.

This was by far the best vendor that we dealt with, not even close. All of our guests raved about Beantown over and over and over again. We could not have been happier. We came in with very high expectations, and Beantown far exceeded them!!

Spectacular Robert Travaglini North Reading Hillview Country Club Wedding - July 15, 2017 - North Reading, MA

The talent, chemistry, personalities and energy that is expended during a Beantown performance is unbelievable. If you are not on the dance floor when the band is playing, it is because you are physically unable to do so. Spectacular… Usually, when someone is that good, they are not that nice. Not the case with Beantown. The best – case closed.

a night full of music, emotion and joy Monica Grehoski The Ocean House Wedding - July 14, 2017 - Watch Hill, RI

As expected, Beantown was extraordinary. From the first song to the last we felt ready to party. Guests were blown away…bet you hear that a lot 🙂

The best part, though, was that we felt totally integrated with you – as if you know us, love us, and like our guests were there to celebrate with us. It was a night full of music and emotion and joy. I truly wish I could find a more articulate way to say thank you.

Hoping somehow we can find a reason to host a party with you again in the future. Keep spreading your magic to the lucky couples who get to share their wedding days with you.

best band they have ever heard! Stacy Strait Popponesset Inn Wedding - July 7, 2017 - New Seabury, MA

Hi Anita,

Everyone said Beantown was by far the best band they have ever heard! Thank you for everything!

The dance floor was packed Pamela Driscoll Wentworth by the Sea Marriott Hotel Wedding - July 1, 2017 - New Castle, NH

Beantown was the best!! Everyone at the wedding was raving about them!! People are still commenting about how great they were! The dance floor was packed from the first song until the last song. I would highly recommend them. The wedding was a huge success and they were a major reason why. Everyone had a blast. Thank you!!

the best night of our lives Katie & Joe Fleming Granite Links Golf Club Wedding - June 17, 2017 - Quincy, MA

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Beantown. Our priority for our wedding was to have a band that kept us up and dancing all night and Beantown far exceeded that expectation. It has been 2 weeks since the big day, and people are still raving about them (and I think they will for years to come). They blew us and all of our guests away!

From the start of the wedding, they had the entire crowd up on the dance floor. I saw relatives that I’ve never seen dance breaking it down!! The singers even came out into the crowd and let us sing. Every single musician is SO talented and they make you feel like celebrities all night.

I cannot gush enough about this band. If you are even considering them, DO IT!! You will not regret it and they will make your wedding the best night of your lives, as they did for us.

Beantown, I only wish I could tell all of you in person how special and instrumental you were in making our wedding so perfect. Keep doing what you are doing and I hope to see you again someday soon!!!

All the best and THANK YOU again,

Best band ever Beth and Jeff Salk

Best band ever; that was all we heard the entire evening. Thank you Beantown!!

The band was phenomenal! Rob Gennaro Belle Mer Wedding - June 3, 2017 - Newport, RI

Anita,

I don’t know where to start!!

It’s the dream of every father to walk his daughter down the aisle, and give her an incredible wedding. From the first time I saw Beantown on the Internet I fell in love.

I was worried about not hearing the band and just booking it. It WAS the best decision of my life!!!!

You are an unbelievable person….you made the process so easy and you listened to everything we asked for. The band itself was phenomenal!!!!….flawless!!!

Every single person asked me where I found you…..told them I knew you for years!! My mom who is 88 even loved it. I told my wife we have to have another affair just to have you there!

Again, I can not say enough about you and Beantown!!!

Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding.

we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Susan Gold Royal Sonesta Hotel Wedding - May 28, 2017 - Cambridge, MA

Anita,

I wanted to tell you how wonderful Beantown was.  The energy from your band as well as the crowd was amazing. So many people have told us how special the band was and we completely agree. The Finklers heard you play at a wedding they previously attended in Boston and they really pushed to hire you and I now see why; we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We look forward to partying with you again at my niece’s wedding in September. Please express our exuberance and thank you to the entire band! The wedding was perfect!

The wedding overall was truly beautiful but the band is what everyone is talking about. We truly can’t rave enough. Not only was the music amazing but all the band members were really professional and kind. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Beantown is a well greased wheel, no need to improve a thing. Excellent company and artist!

You absolutely will not regret it. Melissa Maggio Ocean Cliff Hotel Wedding - December 30, 2016 - Newport, RI

Where do I begin with Beantown?! They are AMAZING! We booked them over a year ago for our wedding in Newport and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made! From the beginning, Justin was so helpful with the entire booking process. He was prompt with responses, honest, and totally willing to work with what we wanted. As the event got closer, we had the pleasure of working with Anita, and she was awesome!

Leading up to our wedding, we only had the chance to listen to Beantown on the videos they have posted. Let me tell you, they don’t do this unbelievably talented group of musicians justice. When they started playing, our guests immediately hit the dance floor. They had everyone up and dancing for the whole entire night and by the end, we were begging them to play one more song!! It took about 5 days for my feet to stop hurting from dancing so much!!!! Since our wedding, countless guests have commented on how amazing the band was, and how they look forward to booking Beantown in the future. If you’re considering Beantown as your wedding band… stop considering and DO IT! You absolutely will not regret it.

so much fun Jessie Barnes Museum of Science Event - December 17, 2016 - Boston, MA

We ALL had the time of our lives Danyel Bianchi-Matteson Chatham Bars Inn Event - December 12, 2016 - Chatham, MA

Tim & Anita,

Words cannot begin to describe how wonderful our event was because of Wilson Stevens and Beantown, truly magnificent!

We ALL had the time of our lives and it is the constant talk around the property and elsewhere before you arrived, while you were here, and all day today. Your talent coupled with the fun energy that you have all is so impressive. You all complement each other so well and it made for a magical night. We had a few employees at the event who are handicapped in various ways and the attention that the performers paid to them was priceless and gave them memories to last a lifetime.

Please be sure to thank the band and crew for everything, their performance, their genuine friendliness; they are just terrific people.

And lastly, I lived my dream… I sang (even just a couple verses) on stage with BEANTOWN! Thank you!

a night to remember Jodi & Joe Sieber Pinebrook Country Club Wedding - November 19, 2016 - Weston, MA

Dear Anita, Tim, and all of Beantown,

How can we thank you enough for the huge role you had in making Hillary & Adam’s wedding such a fabulous, warm, wonderful rocking party? From the moment you started playing, the dance floor was jammed and it stayed that way all night. Thanks to all of you for the musical magic you make. It was a night to remember for everyone there.

Anita- special thanks to you for all your patience with our questions and requests and for encouraging Jennifer to play drums with the band!! She had a once-in-a-lifetime thrill she will never forget and she gave her sister (and the whole crowd) a wonderful surprise. It was a great “moment” and your encouragement gave her the courage to do it. And she loved every second of it.

Everyone who was there told us how they loved the band and we have to agree. You should know how grateful we are for all your efforts. We can’t wait for another opportunity to have a party and dance to Beantown again!!

All the best,

The dance floor was filled all night. ALL NIGHT.

extraordinary gift Margie and David Ritvo Kerman Dane Estate Wedding - September 18, 2016 - Newton, MA

Dear Anita,

I am still dancing to the Beantown beat. I had heard from Paula Marrero about you. I checked you out on your web site and listened to some stuff there. I immersed myself in your playlist. I opened my heart and check book to the band.

And still I HAD NO IDEA. Even now, I still HAVE NO IDEA how you do what you do and did what you did. I do know that everything else about the wedding was superfluous. All that was necessary was Beantown. Please convey to the musicians my deepest gratitude for your music and your elegance and your generous heart. You are the soundtrack of my new life now. Thank you for your most extraordinary gift.

With so much appreciation,

We just love Beantown! Douglas Furbush Renaissance Hotel Wedding - September 16, 2016 - Foxborough, MA

Beantown and Wilson Stevens – thank you so much for making Jake and I’s wedding so special. It was the best night of our lives and it was predominately because of the music, dancing, and laughter out on the dance floor. You were absolutely amazing and everyone is still telling us how incredible the music was. Some of our family members who don’t normally dance were even out on the dance floor! We are especially glad that we added the ceremony music and the cocktail hour music. It was such a beautiful and special touch that made our night that much better, filled with music and singing! one of the best decisions we made Allison Kuncik Nantucket Yacht Club Wedding - June 11, 2016 - Nantucket, MA

Unbelievable. Beantown is literally the best. The dance floor was ROCKING, the band ended up playing extra sets because no one wanted to stop dancing to eat, and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night (chanting “One more song!”) If I had a dollar for everyone who said the band was incredible, it was the best wedding band they had ever heard, etc.

Beantown also made my husband and I feel like rockstars, pulling us on stage — what a rush! Hands down, one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding was hiring Beantown.

they'll be talking about the band for years Charles Reggio Renaissance Hotel Wedding - June 10, 2016 - Foxboro, MA

We were so looking forward to the Beantown band and they exceeded all our expectations. Great fun, great personalities & fabulous performances. Everyone from the road crew, to administration and artists were unbelievably fantastic. Wilson Stevens was prompt, polite and professional.

Choosing Beantown was the best choice we could of made… they’ll be talking about the band for years. Thanks again Tim and Anita!

We were SO thrilled with Beantown and could not recommend them higher. They are the best band we have ever heard. It made our night, and each guest we spoke to talked about how great the band was!

Thank you so much!

absolutely fantastic Teresa Bertels The Ritz Carlton Boston Common Wedding - April 30, 2016 - Boston, MA

Performance Review:

1) Quality of Music: Excellent. The music was outstanding – we cannot stop getting comments from people about how awesome you all were! I think the main comment was that this was the best band anyone has ever seen!

2) Choice of Music: Excellent. Music selection was great! I enjoyed the variations that were played – some oldies, 90s/2000s and pop! Every song that came on just got everyone going even more than the earlier one!

3) Grooming and Attire: Excellent. Everyone looked so professional and awesome!

4) Emceeing: Excellent. The band really helped shape our wedding and turn it into one of the best nights of our lives! This was all attributable to the band and the emceeing done to help make the transition between the reception formalities and dancing so smooth!

5) Break Schedule: Excellent. With one break schedule just to eat, I don’t know how anyone could ever complain! I don’t think anyone even knew they were gone, which was great! We had a ton of people come up to us asking if you ever took a break lol! Thanks for devoting all your time to the music and making the party come alive!

6) Use Wilson Stevens again? Yes. Anita was fantastic to work with throughout the whole planning process. She was so responsive to my emails and made the whole process easy for me.

7) Use artist again?: Yes.

Beantown Band was absolutely fantastic and blew every expectation I had out of the water! I don’t think I have ever been to a wedding where 1) people had to stand on the side of the dance floor because there was no more room for everyone to dance and 2) everyone stayed until the last song that was played. Tom and I literally cannot keep up with all the comments we have been getting from our guests about how great you all were! I think that is a true testament to your musical and performance abilities to generate such a response from hundreds of people. Tom and I are already planning our one year anniversary or our next party so we can hire you guys again lol! Thanks again for everything – you all really helped shape our wedding into one of the best days of our lives and we are so thankful for that! Depression mode has already kicked in but we just keep reliving Saturday and the amazing time us and our guests had!

Beantown was AMAZING! All night, guests were coming up to us and saying, “Where did you find this band?” and “This is the best band we’ve ever heard!” Beantown got everyone dancing and having a wonderful time. Their incredible sound, perfect song selection, ability to involve guests, and dance moves were outstanding. We feel so lucky to have had Beantown at our wedding. To top it off, the band members were extremely kind and inclusive to my brother as they let him join them on the electric guitar for a few songs. That was so sweet and it meant a lot to my family. Thank you, Beantown, for being an amazing band and a kind group of people. A+!

The dance floor was always packed. Linda Abusamra Doubletree Hilton Event - February 6, 2016 - Westboro, MA

Great musicians, really got the crowd rocking, got down on the dance floor and really made it special. Our guests, all 343 of them, danced all night long to Beantown. The dance floor was always packed.

The light show was also incredible, although we’ve had Beantown before, didn’t remember it being THAT COOL!
