Tuesday night marked the first Wilson Stevens Monthly Wedding Band Showcase to be held at the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Boston Woburn. New venues can always be tricky, but thanks to the super accommodating Crowne Plaza staff and the team of pros that work on our Monthly Showcase Series, the event went flawlessly. After a few (shaky) words of introduction from new Emcee and Communications Director Alison, Search Party opened the night with a set highlighting their diverse song list. FreeStyle took the show to the next level, playing chart toppers like fun.‘s “Some Nights,” “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke, and Daft Punk‘s ode to disco, “Get Lucky.” Joey Scott & the Connection brought it back to the old school next, wowing guests with their Motown Medley (watch it below!). Radiance ended the night on a sentimental note with Danny’s powerhouse vocals on “One In A Million.”
